The main living space is the woodman’s wagon, which has been sympathetically fitted out to give a double bed, comfortable seating and dining area alongside the kitchen. The west facing elevated platform allows you to enjoy uninterrupted views over the adjoining farm land and wooded countryside.

Enjoy this secret slice of the English countryside whilst relaxing in the wood-fired hot tub. Other facilities include a compost toilet with an incredible view, a gas shower and camp fire with barbeque. There is also a wooden picnic table and seating.

The site is ideal for couples and well behaved dog or two.

2 children can camp in their own tent at the site for £30 per night per child.

There are excellent train links nearby at Sherborne, from which Stock Gaylard is a 10 minute taxi ride, there is a taxi office at the station.

We recommend Dike & Son, our local family run supermarket in Stalbridge for groceries. They sell a range of local produce plus all the well known brands you use everyday.

Sawpits Wagon is approached via the driveway alongside our historic Deer Park and past some ancient Oak Trees before crossing a field (car friendly!) to its private and secluded location.
