Escape to a beautifully restored Woodman’s Wagon, perched in a private corner of the estate. Surrounded by ancient oaks and grazing deer, Sawpits is a hidden haven designed for couples to reconnect and unwind.

From Dawn to Dusk

• Sunsets: The wagon features an elevated, west-facing platform—the ultimate spot to watch the sun pool across the farmland and ancient woodland with a glass of wine.

• Sunrises: Wake up to the gentle morning light breaking over the Dorset hills, perfectly enjoyed with a coffee from the deck or a soak in the tub.

• Stargazing: With minimal light pollution, the site is a theatre for the night sky once the sun goes down.

The Accommodation & Facilities

• Cosy Interiors: A charming double bed, comfortable seating, and a compact kitchen area.

• The Hot Tub: A private wood-fired hot tub—magical for listening to birdsong or watching the stars.

• Amenities: A unique “Loo with a View” (compost toilet), a gas-heated shower, and a campfire with a BBQ for al fresco meals.

Good to Know

• Families & Dogs: Primarily for couples, but we welcome up to two dogs (additional fee required). Families can also bring two children to camp alongside the wagon in their own tent (£15 per child/night).
