A TRADITIONAL VILLAGE PUB FOR DRINKING & DINING IN THE HEART OF DORSET
In early 2019 the Estate purchased The Green Man in Kings Stag.
After extensive renovation the pub has been open and running since July 2019. You’ll find plenty of ingredients throughout our menu that come from the estate including vension, beef and famous Blue Vinney Cheese and Woodbrige Chuntey to name a few.
Interestingly it appears that the Estate may have once owned the pub many years ago!

The Green Man pub has been at the center of the village of Kings Stag in Dorset for hundreds of years. After changing hands numerous times the pub is now a freehold and in the private ownership of a local family.
The pub has been extensively refurbished and has a fresh new look inside and a fantastic new beer garden.
Our quintessential Dorset pub prides itself on its delicious homemade, local and fresh food with an excellent drinks selection including local real ales & ciders, old favourites and an extensive wines and spirits list. The Green Man at Kings Stag offers the perfect balance between a traditional and contemporary pub.

Whatever your event The Green Man at Kings Stag is your perfect venue.
With a recently large private function room (with a skittles alley if desired), plenty of parking and newly landscaped outdoor space we can host your celebration. Our private spaces are perfect for helping to maintain social distancing.
We also have a smaller dining room which could be booked for private parties or suppers away slightly hidden away from the rest of the pub – perfect for social distancing.
During the winter months the skittle alley can be booked out with food provided.
